On its way

We’re just a little delayed due to bocce and
emotions not felt before pregnancy and
moving all of our furniture into the garage and
painting all of our walls and
the cable guy.

I’ll write the last letters tomorrow.
And I’ll put them in a poster.
And a book.
Just for the baby.

XOXO.

The poster idea sounds awesome. I hope you’re being serious about that.

During a children’s hospital tour ages ago I got this poster that had 100 positive sayings. You have talent! You had a great day today, etc. I’m making those up but you get the gist. #100 was I love you because you’re you.

I put this up on my cubicle wall and some where along the way my supervisor started signing and dating the sayings as a way to tell me I was doing a good job. I was in my late-twenties when that started and maybe, gosh, I don’t know. I should have been too old for that to matter but it was fun and it was an easy way to provide feedback. I’ve always said that if I had a kid, I’d do something like that because, well, sometimes in between working and making dinner and doing laundry and living life, a little proof of unconditional love isn’t a bad thing.

Sounds like someone is nesting. Do you need any help?

Did you paint the cable guy?!

I think the poster or book is an awesome idea.

Hee hee. Yes. Painting the cable guy definitely took the longest.

    He was squirmingly ticklish.
