Easterly

It was a good one, this Easter, what with the Uncle visiting from Chicago, the egg hunt, the lottery ticket, one perfect Bloody Mary and baskets filled with candies.

Easter Poof!

We hung tissue paper poofs. When she saw them hanging in the doorway, she was amazed. Tissue paper poofs!

Bummy oh no!

Only one ear went missing. She was more upset over it than I was.

James' plate #2

We ate sticky baked french toast for breakfast. Tradition, tradition.

Happy Easter!

After naps and more naps, and a few more naps, we tucked into some late lunch.

Relish

We got stomachaches from eating all the radishes.

Macaroni and Cheese

Not to mention all that macaroni and cheese we ate…

Easter pea salad

Pea salad with bacon and goat cheese.

Fried chicken, indeed

Don’t forget the fried chicken, James decided he wanted to marry me over Easter fried chicken.

All per tradition.

We relaxed.
We took it easy.
We haven’t done that for a while, relaxed.

Family, fun.

Love the dad-and-daughters photo! The girls are precious. Just think how close they’ll be all their lives. James wears that beard very well, and I am not usually a beard aficionado.

I would like to spend a holiday at your house. It always looks so fun.

Hooray for replies!
