Jelly Toast

PerambulatorLife has been one designing,
flinging fling fling.

That’s okay.
Life cranks up
it propels us to the lull.

When life gets flingy, we eat a lot of jelly toast.

So much wiping and chopping with all those other foods,
dishes to scrub.

Jelly toast we eat because we love it the most.

When life kicks into event after meeting after call after to-do, what’s your go-to food?

    Peanut Butter and Jelly. What is it about that sandwich. It’s my ultimate comfort food.

    A big bowl of pasta with whatever veggies/cheese/meat happens to be in my ‘fridge at the time. 🙂

    An open face chunky peanut butter and jalapeno-raspberry jelly on toast.


    Tuna salad and olive tapanade (if we have it, otherwise spicy mustard) on toast.

    Always on toast.

    Hummus.Hummus hummus hummus. With carrots or bread or any sort of vegetables. Or pb&j/honey. Always wheat toast.

    @Anne – amen about the toast part. I don’t even remember what non toasted sandwiches taste like anymore, and I don’t think I want to. Glam answer: a take out order of salad, fries & white wine back at the house. Non glam: lots & lots of Triscuits & peanut butter.

    For me, it is hands down a homemade rice krispie treat…and cheese! LOL
