Onward Evolution!

We went to beautiful Park City last week for the EVO conference. I spoke at the Thursday night keynote, the whole family came with me.

Note about taking your family to conferences when half of the family is three or younger.
You probably should think a lot about it.
It was a little harder than I thought.

But then again, the girls did get to meet Bert and Ernie.

But then again, trying to get them to sleep all night while my friends hung out downstairs was excruciating.

But then again, that’s what we balance, right?

The challenges of dragging my children around while I networked notwithstanding, it was a glorious event.
From the snacks they provided, to the different cultures, to the friendly atmosphere and the ample opportunities for chatting, all the way to the family-friendly surroundings, it was a bravo bravo event.

We don’t seem to remember that we’re just ten years out from being connected.
We are still at baby steps.
EVO supports this getting started.

If you hop into this blog thing now, you’re still going to be ahead of the rest of history.
You will share your story,
you will connect with other humans
you will effect change,
all because of your words.

And you might get a check for your effort.

It confuses me, all the rules and directions.
Baby steps.
Stumble a little.
Let’s let each other screw up.
Stop it with the Judgie McJudgersons.

Yes, I’m still saying that.
Also, I like clowns.

Don’t know how you did it, girl. Glad we got to connect, even though it was short. (Did you see pix on my blog?) Love what you wrote here!

Loved seeing you and your fam at evo this year! Your Ignite presentation was amazing. And I’ve seen so many cute pics of your little ones. Loved having you there.
