Meal plan, this week. Plus, healthier.

Meal plan, end of March

I’m working hard this week to get more healthy foods into my husband and children.

After a winter of fair to middling health,
after feeling like I’m 73,
after too many rashes
and runny noses,
we’re welcoming fruits and vegetables to our table with open arms.

I’ve taken some steps, consulted some friends and tried some services — and I can’t wait to see what happens.

Any tips for us?

    Cut grains out of your diet. Your tummy (and GI tract) will thank you. 🙂

    I’m a huge fan of joining a CSA — fresh, seasonal fruits and veggies, all the time. I usually just roast whatever veggies I get with olive oil, salt and pepper and then add them to salads or eat them with eggs. Additionally, I think soup is a killer way to sneak in a ton of veggies. I’m also a juice fiend — I think a juicer was the best investment I’ve ever made. I could go on. I’m a veggie weirdo.
